BAWKU 12 RECEIVES A ROUSING WELCOME IN NAYIRA PALACE. 🐘🐘🐘








  The 12 persons that were falsely accused by the state and unlawfully detained for 10 days without trial have received a rousing welcome in Nalerigu, capital of the North East region and seat of King of the Mamprugu kingdom. 
It was a joyous moment and the ancient town of Nalerigu went agog in receiving this heroes.

    The King of Mamprugu kingdom HRM, the Nayiri Naa Bohagu Abdulai Mahami Sheriga in receiving them thanked the youth of Mamprugu for their solidarity and called for calm in the kingdom. The youth of Mamprugu on their part called on HRM, the Nayiri to caution the President and his appointees to take their hands off the Bawku Chieftaincy issue.

   We the youth of Mamprugu says a very big thank you to all those that acted in various ways to ensure the release of our respected elders. Our first thanks goes to our Legal team for exploring all legal means to ensure the bail was granted. 

   Our sincere gratitude goes to the Bawku Mamprusi Youth Association (BAMYA) and their branches in Tamale and Accra for their continuous support throughout the struggle and getting a legal Counsel for the accused. We acknowledge your efforts behind the scenes in ensuring the release of our respected elders and we say thank you 'Ti Puusiya'.

   We also say thank you to the Mamprugu Youth Association (MAYA), Zaabuni Youth, and all the Youth groups in Mamprugu that worked round the clock to ensure that our elders are granted bail.

   We also extends our gratitude to all our respected Chiefs of Mamprugu who went through sleepless nights to ensure that the delegation of their father the Nayiri are released. We say thank you to, Nba Wurugu-Naa Professor J.S Nabila Paramount Chief of the Wulugu traditional area, Nba Tinguri-Raana, Accra Mamprusi Naa, Nba Gban-Daana, and all our revered Chiefs in Accra. 

    Last but not least, our sincere gratitude goes to all sons and daughters of the Great Mamprugu Kingdom who helped through various means since the day of the arrest of our respected elders till the bail was granted. 
We say thank you to all those that welcomed the delegation at the airport and the youth of Mamprugu that came out to give the delegation a triumphant entry to Nalerigu. 

   To our respected elders, we say you are heroes and shouldn't let the emotional trauma you went through in the hands of the police weigh you down.
     You are our heroes and we shall forever stand by you. 
      Together we will make Mamprugu Great Again. 💪

BAWUMIA FINALLY DECLARES STANCE ON LGBTQI

Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has emphatically stated he opposes the practice of LGBTQ+ in Ghana. Addressing a gathering of Muslims to commemorate the 2024 Eid-ul-Fitr celebration, Dr Bawumia said he cannot support a practice his religion and the values of Ghana frown on. “I will like to take this opportunity to personally comment on the raging issue of LGBTQ in Ghana.
