"To the youth I say; Patience! Patience! And Patience! Our own dog, we prepared for our own protection, has bitten us unintentionally! Had the Dog known, it wouldn't have done that, so be patient my youth of Mamprugu"

"To be a leader, you should be patient, if not, you can't lead. To be a leader is like leading a blind man to a water source, to wash his dirty clothes, while the blind has full control over you. At every water source, the blind touches the water and tells you, this water is not clear enough to clean my clothes, take me to the next source. He could do this as many times as he wants. Be patient and follow his will. When you finally gets to his desired water source, he will agree to use such water to wash".

"At the point of washing, if the blind shows his own washed cloth to you and asks whether it is neat enough? Tell him a part of it isn't done yet and he will continue to wash it. As many times he kept asking you, keep telling him a part is left uncleaned, until he personally tells you the cloth is fully cleaned, then you agree with him that the cloth is now fully cleaned. Then after, you can have peace to walk with him back home, both satisfied"

Be patient and cautious, my youth of Mamprugu - He continued. 

"The Bawku case is like the bile in the gallbladder, attached to the liver of a slaughtered animal. The gallbladder is delicate and could bust to pour the bile on the liver, destroying it's taste if mishandled and no one can enjoy such liver".

"The gallbladder should be taken carefully, from the liver to enable the young ones and any interested patty alike, to eat the liver peacefully and joyfully. If on the contrary, you mishandle the gallbladder, it will burst and the bile can damage the taste of the liver and none can enjoy it. You the youth of Mamprugu, represents the bile. So be patient my youth, be patient!" 

"War or conflict destroys peaceful coexistence, retards progress and destroys businesses, be patient"

"If anyone here, has any question to ask, we are all ears, let him speak"

And there, was absolute silence, except the sound of clapping hands.

BAWUMIA FINALLY DECLARES STANCE ON LGBTQI

Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has emphatically stated he opposes the practice of LGBTQ+ in Ghana. Addressing a gathering of Muslims to commemorate the 2024 Eid-ul-Fitr celebration, Dr Bawumia said he cannot support a practice his religion and the values of Ghana frown on. “I will like to take this opportunity to personally comment on the raging issue of LGBTQ in Ghana.
